All in all great list. But I think you undervalued 12/28/96. Maze was amazing, the energy in the spectrum was nuttastic. TMWSIY was bueatiful. I could go on….

went to a few NYE’s but the Miami NYE was special on so many levels. Anyone there knows what I am talking about!

Nice list.

Since your list doesn’t go back that far, I’ll have to list all the 93 shows for you. Phenomenal week of music, crazy blizzards… 12/30/93 will always be a very, very special show for me, although in retrospect, they were all pretty sweet.

*sigh* I’m a post-hiatus nOOb who only made it to 5 shows and who never got to go to a NYE run (lack of funds). However, 6/20/04 at SPAC was an amazing night for me and if that show even hinted at what Phish were like in their prime (1993-1997 for me), then woah, you are some lucky people to have heard them in their prime.

Yes, that 12/29/94 Bowie is amazing, but I think the one from 11/26/94 (the same show the Slave from “A Live One” was recorded at) is even better: it’s longer, but somehow tighter, more focused and just as crazy in parts (Trey megaphone feedback jam anyone?). Check it out.

*sigh* I miss Phish, though I’m torn about whether I want them to come back. I don’t see how they can get the magic of the 90’s back, so maybe it’s best they let it lie.
