Personal fav of mine (and my wife): Via Chicago - Wilco

Whenever we're on our way back we play it as we hit Lake Shore Drive. It's always perfect.

Another honorable mention: Two of Us - The Beatles.

Can't please everyone...after all, that's what the comments section is for. Naive Melody is probably the best song ever written, though. Ever.

Honestly fellas, that's a fair criticism. Originally the list was going to be 21 entries. Time ran short and I cut one, which was Naive Melody.

A biff, perhaps.

I'd have to say that Naive Melody is a big leave off for me. 20 songs and it didn't make the cut? Green Green Grass of home is also a classic, either the Tom Jones or Johnny Cash Folsom Prison versions are great. Powerful song with a great twist at the end. But why quibble. Besides everybody loving the muppets, opinions are like assholes.

Another great list, you guys are doing great work with this here little blog. No "Naive Melody(This Must be the Place)" by TH? That was the one that jumped to mind for me, after Sweet Home. And thank you for reminding me what a great song "Rockin' Chair" is.
