The Blogosphere Remembers Jay Bennett
We’re still in shock over losing Jay Bennett on Sunday morning. The cause of Bennett’s death still isn’t known after the preliminary autopsy reports came back inconclusive according to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times.

There’s a difference between taking a guy to task for suing his old band mate over a film he didn’t make and not appreciating the man as a musician and artist.

Ryan, I was thinking the same thing this morning. Last week I read some of the nastiest shit about Jay and now everyone is saying what a stand up guy he was. I don’t understand all the hatred, he was in a band, they kicked him out, they started raking in the dough and he turned bitter. It happens all the time.

This is all so weird. Everybody is just pretending like they weren’t ripping Bennett a new one like 3 days ago.
Has there ever been a more obvious, “Fuck you guys then. I don’t need this shit anymore. Peace out” moment?
I guess we better wait for the “autopsy.”
