The Meter Men w/ Page McConnell – Jazz Fest Late Night
Just about a week ago the lineup for the 2013 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival came out and one of the many names listed was that of The Meter Men with Phish keyboardist Page McConnell. Original Meters members George Porter Jr., Zigaboo Modeliste and Leo Nocentelli first teamed up with McConnell for a brief run of shows last fall and will reprise their collaboration at Jazz Fest. Not only will the quartet play at the Fairgrounds, they’ll also play a late night show in The Crescent City.
The Meter Men with Page McConnell will perform at Republic New Orleans on May 4th starting at approximately 10PM local time. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, at noon via TicketWeb.
