Grace Potter and the Nocturnals found themselves in Dallas tonight with a few days off and nothing to do. Potter sent a tweet asking her followers what area to visit in the Texan city. Iconic rocker Tom Petty ain’t no fool and pulled a total rock star move by sending the sexy band leader and her mates a Hummer limo to bring them to his show at the Superpages.com Center.

It must be nice to be a big enough star that you have a Hummer limo at your beck and call to pick up bands from Vermont who have an off day in the same city you’re playing in.
