After last night’s announcement that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were one of the headliners at the 2012 New Orleans Jazz Fest, you had to figure that more North American dates were in the works. This morning we’ve got our answer as the legendary rockers have revealed a series of North American concerts leading up to their first tour of Europe in 20 years.
The tour kicks off on April 19 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado and continues through Jazz Fest until a May 5th date in Austin, Texas. Petty returns to the road a month later for some Canadian dates just before heading across the Atlantic.
