Tonight’s George Clinton Tribute Show at Harlem’s Apollo Theater flew under our radar, but when we saw that there were still tickets available we wanted to tell our readers about it in case anyone could attend. How’s this for a lineup of musical guests? Bernie Worrell, Bootsie Collins, Paul Shaffer, Questlove,  Fab 5 Freddy, Full Force, Vernon Reid, Dallas Austin and Doug E. Fresh. Not too shabby if you ask us.

American Idol musical director Ray Chew has put together the concert to recognize and benefit NYC public hospitals and healthcare facilities.  A few tickets remain through Ticketmaster.
