Every fall for the last 20+ years legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young has assembled an all-star roster of musicians for a charity concert to benefit the Bridge School – which assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs. Now in its 23rd year, this year’s line-up will feature performances from Young, No Doubt, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Fleet Foxes, Wolfmother, Sheryl Crow, Gavin Rossdale, Monsters Of Folk, Jimmy Buffet and Adam Sandler. The all-acoustic shows will take place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA on October 24 and 25.

If you can’t make it out to Shoreline for these two concerts for a great cause, than maybe you’ll be able to hit one these recently announced tours…

Finally, as we’ve previously reported Ben Gibbard and Jay Farrar have teamed up to record the soundtrack for the upcoming the Jack Kerouac documentary – One Fast Move or I’m Gone: Kerouac’s Big Sur. The album, whose 12 original songs are drawn from the beat writer’s 1962 novel Big Sur, will hit stores on October 20. The DC4C and Son Volt front men, will hit the road to support the release with a full band in tow for a short four-city run with shows in L.A., San Francisco, Chicago and NYC.
