Tour Dates: Forked Up
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the folks at Pitchfork sure know how to put together a music festival that is big on heavy hitters and low on price. The influential music site has revealed the initial lineup for for the fifth annual Pitchfork Music Festival which as we previously reported will be headlined by Pavement. They will be joined by Modest Mouse, LCD Soundsystem, St. Vincent, Raekwon, Lightning Bolt, Cass McCombs, Here We Go Magic & Sleigh Bells with more acts to be announced soon.

The fest will once again return to Chicago’s Union Park from July 16-18, with single-day tickets available for $40, while a three-day pass will run you just $90. Not a bad deal if you ask us.
If you can’t make it out to Chicago for the hipster-friendly fest, than maybe you’ll be able to hit one of these recently announced tours…
- The Hold Steady heads out for the first time without Franz Nicolay
- Stockholm Syndrome lines up a string of West Coast shows
- Singer-songwriter Martin Sexton hits the road for a lengthy trek
- Ringo Starr rolls out summer dates with his All Starr Band
- John Brown’s Body & Toubab Krewe team up a co-headlining run
- Folk-rockers The Cave Singers hit towns west of the Mississippi
Finally, Gogol Bordello has big plans when they hit the road this coming April as the gypsy-punk act will headlining their own traveling festival that they’ve dubbed Casa Gogol. Joining the band for what should be quite the night will be DeVotchKa, Jesse Malin and his new backing band St. Mark’s Social, as well as Tres Leches Sound Crew – which will find GB’s lead singer Eugene Hutz pulling double duty. The 10-date tour North American tour kicks off at the Metropolis in Montreal, QC on April 18.
