We keep our eyes peeled for new tour dates announcements each week and compile them on Tuesdays for this handy column…

After selling an estimated 70 million albums, and years of public feuding and bickering, the Brothers Gallagher finally pulled the plug on Oasis in 2009. Liam collected the pieces of their shattered band to form Beady Eye, who put out their debut album Different Gear, Still Speeding, earlier this year. Not to be outdone by his younger brother, Noel has announced the formation of a band he’s dubbed Noel Gallagher’s Highly Birds, and that they will release their self-titled debut album on October 18. Gallagher will head out in late October for a string of dates both here and abroad, that includes a two-night stand at Massey Hall in Toronto, on November 7 and 8.

If you’re not into a night with Noel Gallagher’s new band, then maybe you’ll be interested in hitting one of these recently announced tour…
