Tour Dates: The Mac Is Back

Fleetwood Mac will reunite for their first tour in over five years in support of a new greatest hits compilation called Unleashed. The classic rock band have revealed the first 16 dates for what is sure to be a lengthy North American arena tour, which will kick off on March 1 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. After several midwest stops the Mac will head east with shows throughout New York state as well as up and down the East Coast. Tickets for the first leg of their Unleashed tour go on-sale on December 15.

Finally, the inital artist list for the 3rd installment of the Sounds Like Brooklyn Festival has been revealed. The borough-wide event, which takes place over the course of the two weekends and a variety of venues in February, will feature the likes of CYHSY (who took their name from a graffitied wall in Williamsburg), Beirut, Kaki King, Chairlift and Japanther – with more artists to be revealed in the coming weeks. The event is a mix of free and pay events is sponsored by the Brooklyn Academy Of Music “to showcase of the some of the most innovative music coming out of the borough”.

  1. sadly, the majority of tix for this show at Albany’s (NY) Times Union Center are $150 (floor and 100 level) and $80 (most of the 200 level). only the upper decks (200 level) at the far end of the arena, away from the stage, are $50. another sad money grab.
