A much rumored guest spot from former 70 Volt Parade front man Trey Anastasio at tonight’s HeadCount Benefit, which will be held at the recently re-opened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York has reached the confirmed stage thanks to a tweet from Roots drummer Questlove.

Wait….what’s that @? You wanna “Sit in w/ @ tomorrow at @“? w/ Warren Haynes & Bob Weir too!!? Cool!

Questo of The Roots

Questo mentioned that Trey and previously announced guests Warren Haynes and Bob Weir will all sit in with The Roots during tonight’s show. Anastasio played with The Roots back on February 24, 2000 when they backed B.B. King for a performance of Rock Me Baby that was taped for Cap Theatre boss Peter Shapiro’s All Access documentary. Bob Weir will open the evening with a solo acoustic set.
