Former 70 Volt Parade front man Trey Anastasio joined fellow redhead Conan O’Brien onstage tonight during the TV host’s show at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA. Big Red led the Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour Band through a take on the Marshall/Anastasio ditty Alaska while wearing a Philadelphia Flyers jersey. Trey has played with the band’s guitarist and musical director – Jimmy Vivino – at the last Jammy’s Award ceremony when the Phish guitarist sat in with the Fab Faux.
O’Brien has welcomed different musical acts to the stage throughout his tour including Pearl Jam and Vampire Weekend. Conan’s tour continues tomorrow in Washington D.C., while Anastasio next takes the stage on Friday with Phish in Chicago.

Does anyone else see the potential irony in the fact that opening night of Phish tour in Chicago would coincide with a Flyers/Hawks game 7 in Chicago?
