I woke up on this gloomy Monday morning here in New York to the sad news that legendary comedian George Carlin had passed away last night at the age of 71. The sharp tongued Carlin was probably most famous for his bit on the Seven Deadly Words You Can Never Say On Television, which lead to a historic Supreme Court Case that ruled his routine to be “indecent, but not obscene” – leading to the establishment of “family hours” for broadcasting such material (and I didn’t even go to law school folks).
