This July the music world lost Amy Winehouse, who tragically became known more for her battles with personal demons than her immense musical talents, at the all too young age of 27. The retro soul singer, who had been rumored to be working on the follow up to her wildly successful 2007 sophomore effort Back To Black, left behind a collection of recordings that included unreleased tracks, alternate takes as well as a number of new tracks. Two of Winehouse’s former producers – Marc Ronson and Salaam Remi – sifted through the material, and on December 6 the results will be released as the 12-track compilation Lioness: Hidden Treasures. Late last week a music video for the reggae-inspired track Our Day Will Come was released, featuring on and off stage footage and photos of the late singer.

Let’s check it out…
