Supposedly, Brooklyn-based hipster band Atomic Tom had their instrumentals stolen recently leading the group to find a new way to perform an original tune in an innovative fashion. The quartet took to the subway with iPhones to tackle a poppy tune called Take Me Out…

Over the last 12 hours this video has gone viral to the extreme and Atomic Tom’s Facebook Page has gotten thousands of new “like’s.” We have a feeling these guys won’t have any problem filling their Arlene’s Grocery CMJ Showcase on the 22nd. The song may not be up our alley but major props to Atomic Tom for finding a unique way to expose their music to the masses.
