In other tDB-related news, a tradition that started last year will continue in 2010 as URB and MIXMUSICMATCH team up to offer novice DJs an opportunity to win a prize package that includes the chance to spin a one-hour set at Camp Bisco 9 and travel expenses. To enter, head over to URB’s Camp Bisco Remix Contest page to download stems of songs by Bassnectar, King Britt, Black Seeds and the Disco Biscuits. Remix the tunes to your liking by using the your own music editing software or a free program for beginners and upload the track you made using the instructions on the site. Once the contest ends on June 21, a panel of judges will pick a winner for each track and then one grand prize winner.
