The Chicago-based Company of Thieves keeps their momentum barrel rolling with a new video for Death of Communication, a song that pinpoints both the breakdown of face-to-face communication and the modern conventions that prevent people from being themselves. It’s a little heavy-handed, but at the end of the day, front-woman Genevieve Schatz is a captivating performer and Company of Thieves – unlike many buzzy indie bands these days – is even better live than they are recorded, so we’ll let it slide.
