Combining roots-rock with healthy doses of country, gospel and soul, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons managed to impress, earning some lofty accolades from the likes of the New York Times, Esquire, Rolling Stone and American Songwriter. Chisel & Co., who served as the opening act for Norah Jones on her recent European tour, released their Brendon Benson (The Raconteurs) produced sophomore studio album, Old Believers, back in late June and last week dropped the music video for the heartbreaking, plaintive ballad Laura.
