With the recent gluttony of indie-rock “super groups” in the last few years, we wouldn’t blame you if you’ve been having a hard time keeping track of just who’s in what band, so here’s a quick refresher course on the Diamond Rugs who features members of Deer Tick, Los Lobos, The Black Lips, Dead Confederate and Six Finger Satellite.

The self-dubbed “stupor group” released a highly recommended rowdy, booze-fueled self-titled debut back in April, and will head out for a short tour seven-date tour, that kicks off on Saturday, October 27, with an appearance at WFUV’s Late Nights at Zankel Hall series. Prior to all that, the band has released the NSFW music video for the album’s lead single – Blue Mountains. Let’s check it out…
