Comprised of members of Deer Tick, Los Lobos, The Black Lips, Dead Confederate and Six Finger Satellite, the Diamond Rugs have released one of the stronger albums on the 2012, so far with their raw, booze-fueled self-titled debut. Earlier this week the Steve Berlin dubbed “stupor-group” made their network television debut, when they stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theatre to perform their The Replacements meets Nirvana track Blue Mountains on the Late Show with David Letterman.
