The hip-hop and rock worlds collided head on last night in Philadelphia at the Made In America Festival, when festival curator Jay-Z sat in with legendary Seattle band Pearl Jam on the rapper’s 99 Problems. The guest spot was part of Pearl Jam’s encore at the end of their headlining set. That wasn’t the first time Hova delivered 99 Problems while fronting a rock band as he performed that trick in his home borough of Brooklyn with Phish on June 18, 2004.
