For their first video since 2009, psychedelic garage-soul act King Khan & The Shrines nods to the recent boom of big budget summer superhero movies, as lead singer King Khan takes on the alter-ego of Super KK. Much like their music, the video for Bite My Tongue channels a retro vibe that nods heavily to not only to the campy 1960s Batman television series, but also to absurdity and naughty cheekiness of both Benny Hill and Monty Python. King Khan & The Shrines kick off a brief Northeast run tonight at the Brighton Music Hall in Brighton, Mass., and will return to the states again in the fall for a short West Coast swing.
