Video: Spectrum Road – Vuelta Abajo
Bonnaroo kicks off today in Manchester, Tennessee with a loaded lineup featuring a taste of many different genres. Longtime Bonnaroo vet John Medeski will pull double duty at this year’s fest as he’s set to perform with a pair of supergroups – The Word and Spectrum Road.
Spectrum Road features Vernon Reid on guitar, Medeski on keys, Cindy Blackman Santana on drums and Jack Bruce on bass. The group came together over a love of jazz-rock fusion band Tony Williams Lifetime and have just put out a self-titled debut. Bonnaroo will be one of the group’s first gig, though they have performed in Tokyo before where this clip of Vuelta Abajo was filmed…
Spectrum Road will play The Other Tent at Midnight on Saturday evening.
