In the last handful of years there has been a boom in what back in the late 1990s we would have called “jamgrass” bands, with the likes of Hot Buttered Rum, Trampled By Turtles and Head for the Hills all embracing the high and lonesome sounds of bluegrass music. Among this new crop of highly talented bands that deserve your attention are The Infamous Stringdusters, who have been steadily putting out critically acclaimed albums since 2007, which all have cracked the Top Ten on Billboard’s Bluegrass charts. The band released their fourth studio album Silver Sky earlier this year, and have just put a music video for the album’s lead track, Don’t Mean Nothin’. Let’s check it out…

The Infamous Stringdusters kick off their summer tour on July 12 at Santa Fe Sol in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which includes a high profile appearance at SCI’s Horning’s Hideout fest on July 21.
