Reclusive singer-songwriter Tom Waits made a rare television appearance last night when he visited The Late Show with David Letterman. The gravelly-throated singer and his band played Chicago, the marvelous opening track from his critically-acclaimed Bad As Me LP. Check it out…
Waits also sat for an interview segment where he discussed living in NYC during the ’70s and showed Dave a 19th century rat trap – typical wacky behavior from Tom.
The California native makes his Late Night with Jimmy Fallon debut tonight.
