We wanted to start this column by paying our respects to a loyal, long-time Hidden Track reader who was among the first fans of the site – Dave Nolan. Dave, who tragically passed away from a sudden heart attack last week, was a dedicated taper and Grateful Dead fan that put together the Morning Dew radio program which aired on WBAI here in the NYC-area. Jambands.com posted a beautiful obit about Dave and Richard Gehr delved into Dave’s passion for taping on the HeadCount blog a few days back.
Dave will be missed by all of the people he touched over his 48 years.
