35 Years Ago Today- Bruce Dickinson Becomes Iron Maiden’s Lead Singer Replacing Paul Di’Anno (Watch “The Trooper” Live ’85)

35 years ago today (9/26/81), Iron Maiden changed frontman and forever set the course of a new era which catapulted em into the league of greatest of heavy metal bands ever. Bruce Dickinson was brought in to replace Paul Di’Anno on vocals – and worldwide dominance carried forth most recently with help from Ed Force One, of which Dickinson is the pilot.
