45 Years Ago Today – Led Zeppelin Release “Black Dog” as U.S. Single (Watch Live ’73 MSG)

45 years ago today (12/02/71) Led Zeppelin released “Black Dog” as a single in the U.S. The the opening track on their fourth album (1971). It was released as a single in the US and in Australia with “Misty Mountain Hop” as the B-side, and is one of the most identifiable Zeppelin songs with the main riff written by John Paul Jones vs Jimmy Page.
