60 years ago today (8/29/58), the late Michael Jackson (King of Pop) was born in Gary, IN. Jackson dominated the music biz with a chart-topping career both with the Jackson 5 and as a solo artist. He released the best-selling album in history, ‘Thriller,’ in 1982 and his contributions to music and dance and pop of course are meteoric.
