Happy 70th birthday to Mick Taylor, who was born on 1/17/49. Taylor joined The Rolling Stones following Brian Jones’ death and has appeared on some of the Stones’ classic albums including Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers , Goats Heads Soup and Exile on Main St. Prior to his work with the Stones, Taylor was a former member of John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. Taylor recently rejoined the Stones for portions of their tour performing on songs he originally played on. Watch Taylor and The Stones perform “All Down The Line” live in ’72.
