Mini Mansions’ have dropped their new video for “Death Is A Girl,” the first single from their upcoming album, The Great Pretenders, due in early 2015 on , via Capitol Recordsin the U.S. and Fiction Recordsin the UK.
Mini Mansions are T Bone Burnett’s first signing, and also likely the only record you’ll hear that features both Brian Wilson and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner. Drummer Michael Shuman in the band is also bassist for Queens of the Stone Age.
The band simply had this to say: “The video is a neo-noir mix of sex, death, and psychedelic interrogation techniques, only used in purgatory facilities disguised as 1970’s police holding tanks.”
