Bottle Rockets Pay Tribute To Man’s Best Friend With “Dog” Music Video

Back in October The Bottle Rockets released a brand new album called South Broadway Athletic Club (Check out our REVIEW) on Bloodshot Records. One of the more light-hearted, fun songs on the album is “Dog”. The simple tune is a loving tribute to man’s best friend, and earlier this week the band premiered a new video for it via A.V. Club. To convey the intimate relationship between dogs and humans the band enlisted a handful of their musical friends and got some great footage of them doing the kind of stuff people do with dogs, you know, like running, rowing, fishing, snuggling, lounging, and just hanging out. Carlene Carter, Neko Case, Chuck Ragan, Kelly Hogan, Murder By Death, Ha Ha Tonka, Jesse Sykes, The Mastersons, Cory Branan, Scott H. Biram, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, The Yawpers, Scott McCaughey, Limbeck, Will Kimbrough, Amy Gore, Freakwater, and the Bottle Rockets’ own Brian Henneman all make appearances…with their dogs of course!
