Tour Dates: Get Weir’d This August

We keep our eyes peeled for new tour dates announcements each week and compile them on Tuesdays for this handy column…

For an artist that has seemingly played everywhere and has been apart of a number of historic concerts over the last 40+ years, the one thing that Bob Weir has never done is a proper solo acoustic tour. Well come this summer the former Grateful Dead and current Furthur singer-guitarist can cross that off his bucket list as he will head out for a five-date theater run that kicks off at the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, TN on August 4 and currently includes one TBD date. Mail order requests are have started via GDTSTOO with the public on-sale taking place on Friday, May 6.

Also on the Bob Weir front, the jorts-wearing superstar will offer a free webcast from his TRI Studios on Friday, May 13.
